The Dogs of Smokey Mtn.

 "Shooter"
AKC CH and UKC GR CH 'PR'
Smoky Mtn's Slvr Shooting Star
OFA-G CERF/ERG/TX A&M B

AKC CH and UKC GR CH Smoky Mtn Slvr Shooting Star, aka "Shooter”, son of Cruella and Sierra’s Orion, has become a legend in his own time, by taking best of breed, when only an 18 month old champion, at the NAEDA Fall Nationals in '99, and surprised us by being #7 in 2001, with only four weekends and four best of breeds. In 2002 he was awarded the American Eskimo Show Dog of the Year by being #1 in UKC.

He has produced a Best of Breed at both Westminster and the Eukanuba Classic, and many other major winning offspring.  He is 7 now and semi-retired from the show circuit.  He is now available for stud to approved females.

Of course, as our loving companion and Mike’s soul mate, he finds time for camping, swimming, and fishing with the rest of his two and four-legged family!

 "Cruella"
AKC CH,
UKC GR CH
Smokey Mtn's Warrior Woman
OFA and CERF

"A picture is worth a thousand words" … this is our Cruella. Her eyes, her smile, her gentle ways are just part of what makes her special. The combination of a loving temperament, black points, flowing movement, and superb coat, make her almost one of a kind. She earned all of her titles, with little assistance from us. She finished her show career with 3 five-point majors. She earned her last 5 at the Rose City Classic, Portland, OR, Feb. 2001, by defeating two specials for Best of Breed! Not too bad for an old girl! She is retired now and is enjoying her life with us, and playing with her children and grandchildren.   She is 10 now and continues to be Candi’s soul mate.  Without her we would not have the dogs we do.

 "Chief"
CH ‘PR’ SMOKEY MTN’S INDIAN OUTLAW
Born
April 9, 2005

Chief is the son of our Ruby and Mary Ellen Eichelberger’s Henry. At just over 6 months of age he is already winning big.  He is showing great bone, superb movement and awesome personality.

 "KD"
UKC CH ‘PR’ Smokey Mtn’s Keeper of Dreams

She is one of our most beautiful Eskies.  She is just now 3 and starting her breeding program.  Words cannot describe her beauty, gentle temperament, and love of life.  She is so good with children and is always a joy to behold and be with.  Look for her in upcoming litters.

 "Beta"
CH ‘PR’ Smokey Mtn’s Dream Catcher

Beta is the daughter of Cruella and AKC CH UKC NGCH AWD Timberline Smokey Mtn.  Beta is the other “teenage” girl in our pack.  She has started her show career and is a delight to show and be around.  She too has the loving temperament and beauty of her cousins, KD and Dharma.  The three run together like typical teenage girls.  That is why we call them the teenagers.  Often silly, but always loveable.  As you can see from the picture below, we are very proud to announce that she has finished her UKC Championship. Now look for upcoming breedings.

Just this side of heaven is a place called the Rainbow Bridge

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here,
that pet goes to the Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run
and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals that had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor.

Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again,

just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.

The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing;

they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance.

His bright eyes are intent.  His eager body quivers.

Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass,

his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet,

you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again.

The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet,

so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart

Then you cross the Rainbow Bridge together….
